DESCRIPTION:We have been working on a very exciting refurbishment of all 184 bedrooms and we finally get to share it with you at this exclusive event.  Join us for your chance to toast a new era in our beautiful landmark hotel!  Enjoy local food tastings by recently crowned local food hero (RAI Awards) Tom Flavin as well as some afterwork drinks on what promises to be a memorable evening of networking and entertainment. Nore information below...\n\n\n\nThe Four Star\, multi-award winning Limerick Strand hotel\, has completed a  1.6 million refurbishment programme upgrading 184 contemporary bedrooms\,13 suites and bedroom corridors making it Limericks' only fully refurbished hotel.  In addition they've announced a  3.3 million development plan that will see a further increase the current bedroom count\, with an additional 20 bedrooms in early 2020\, bringing the total bedroom count to 204. \n\n \n\nLimerick Strand is renowned for championing local suppliers and has once again underlined this commitment by commissioning over 40 local trade and experts to work on the refurbishment.  The new look contemporary bedrooms\, suites and corridors have been furnished and renovated to the highest standards working with many local businesses including Limerick's Abbey Owney who were commissioned to make the beautiful\, contemporary bespoke furniture and Conroy Curtains Ltd. who made the curtains and voiles using a rich tapestry of fabrics with a colour palette of teal and soft golds to suites and a mixture of yellow\, greys and cappuccino for the contemporary bedrooms.  Wall colours are contemporary greys with wallpaper in suites from Vescom\, shades and lights plus the silk shades in suites all from Irish lighting experts Hicken Lighting.  All the painting and decorating was completed by local tradesman Eamon Flynn Painting & Decorating. Interior Designer\, Deirdre O'Donnellan commissioned paintings of local landmarks from Spire Art to complement the room interior colours.   In-room facilities were also upgraded to include glass counter tops\, new Phillips TVs and brand new RESPA beds from Co. Meath.
