Introducing our next speaker for the Regional Leaders Programme:
Eleanor McEvoy is Northern Ireland's Ambassador for Entrepreneurship and CEO of Next-Gen Power, a green energy business which enables commercial, agricultural and domestic users to generate their own power using cost-effective, state of the art solar panel and battery technology.
As an energy sector expert, she is passionate about promoting green energy, reducing fuel poverty and saving the planet.
A serial entrepreneur, she is currently Chair of the Federation of Small Businesses NI Energy Group and Ulster University’s Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship.
A two-time EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, she broke new ground by becoming the first private supplier of electricity in the Northern Ireland market and ROI with Budget Energy. Before that, she successfully built and sold two companies: Pembroke Distributors Ltd, a vending company which was sold in 2001, and Phonecard Warehouse Ltd, which achieved a £50m turnover before being sold in 2006. As a dragoness on two seasons of RTE’s Dragons Den, she made substantial investments in a number of young businesses.
As this will be the last event we will host in this years Limerick Chamber Regional Leaders Programme and due to the cancellation of the recent Aongus Hegarty event, we would like to invite all attendee's the opportunity to bring along a guest/colleague or friend to the above event. We would also like to invite all our 2019 Regional Leaders Programme participants to join us for our first speaker event of our 2020 Regional Leaders Programme, to be held in January 2020.
