CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response

About Us

CRITICAL Emergency Medical Response is a national charity dedicated to providing life-saving pre-hospital emergency care through a network of volunteer Emergency Medical Responders and First Responders across Ireland.

At the heart of our mission is a team of Volunteer Emergency Medical Responders, including Critical Care Doctors operating a fleet of Emergency Response Vehicles, Community First Responder (CFR) groups, and off-duty EMTs, paramedics, and advanced paramedics.

Our responders are dispatched by the National Ambulance Service following a 999/112 call, arriving swiftly to incidents such as cardiac arrests, road traffic collisions, workplace and farming accidents, and more. They can provide life-saving treatment on scene while an ambulance is on the way, like on the side of a road, in schools, workplaces, or in your own home.

Your support makes a difference. Donations from individuals, businesses, and communities like yours directly fund essential medical equipment, including defibrillators, resuscitation kits, and diagnostic tools, ensuring our responders have what they need to save lives on the front lines. Every contribution helps us continue this vital work—because in an emergency, every second counts.
